The Netherlands Youth Institute is the Dutch national institute for compiling, verifying and disseminating knowledge on children and youth matters, such as youth care, parenting support and child education. The Netherlands Youth Institute's main aim is to improve the physical, cognitive, mental and social development of children and young people by improving the quality and effectiveness of the services rendered to them and their parents or carers. Eurodesk is one of the many international activities in which the Netherlands Youth Institute is involved. Eurodesk is an Europe information service for youth between the age of 15 and 25 and for those who work with youth or students. Eurodesk provides information about school and study in Europe, internships, exchange opportunities, volunteering or working and travelling in Europe.
